The United Arab Emirates plan to join U.S. military efforts to forcibly open the Strait of Hormuz. Pope Leo yesterday stated directly that he hopes President Trump, along with other world leaders, will pursue peace. NASA will launch the Artemis II mission today in an attempt to orbit the moon for the first time since 1972. The Supreme Court ruled nearly unanimously on a conversion therapy case. A federal judge permanently blocked Trump's executive order directing all federal agencies to cut funding to NPR and PBS yesterday, oddly ruling that the order violates the First Amendment. The Trump administration, citing legal challenges, said it will continue to give Title X grants to Planned Parenthood for another year. Abortion is not directly covered by these grants, but they nonetheless subsidize the organization.
